Prince Verdel

Here he is, fully groomed and wearing the glasses his owner bought for him. It's unfortunate that he lost his sight 2 years ago. We're unsure how it happened, but this is his current condition. He's a lively little guy who keeps mom busy. I noticed he was only eating the treats mom crumbles over his food, so I decided to try the farmer's dog. So far, so good. He seems to enjoy it! It's just a bit of work to defrost the food and portion it out—I thought it would be a good additional activity to keep her engaged. So far, she's been doing well with defrosting and saving the food for the week. The doctor mentioned he can see a little from one eye—not much, but a little. I hope that one day he wakes up and, suddenly, he can see again. I have faith.
